The labs of Susanne Schreiber and Carsten Duch just reported their progress in figuring out the role of noisy electrical coupling for robust flight pattern generation in Drosophila. The work was carried out by Silvan Hürkey, Nelson Niemeyer, Jan-Hendrik Schleimer and Stefanie Ryglewski in a close and RobustCircuit-initiated collaboration. Check out the paper (open access):
