The RobustCircuit consortium has increased its effort to harvest connectomics data to understand precision and variability in wiring outcomes. Key papers from our teams were published last year by P3 (Wernet) and P5 (Silies).
The Z1 PI Daniel Baum and his PhD student Philipp Harth have in parallel developed new approaches to probe connectomic data for wiring specificity using simulation-based Bayesian inference. Members from P2, P3, P4, P5, P6 and Z1 met at the Mainz Connectomics Hackathon to develop the application of this approach for RobustCircuit projects. Here are some impressions 🙂
